Following his near-future BBC drama Years & Years, Russell T. Davies returns to Channel 4 with It’s A Sin, a stunning and evocative series that spotlights the HIV/AIDS crisis of the 1980s. This is chiefly done through the changing perspectives of three young gay men – Ritchie (Olly Alexander, returning to his acting roots), Roscoe (Omari Douglas) and Colin (Callum Scott Howells) – who come to occupy a sprawling flat (christened the “Pink Palace”) in the heart of the city.
