Pedro Almodóvar is a world-renowned cinematic master at interlacing a multitude of plot threads and themes into a discernable and absorbing piece of filmmaking with a seemingly blasé attitude. His latest film, The Skin I Live In, personifies that applaudable ability further.

I realise that coming from a little known film blogger in the depths of Scotland this post might seem a little self-indulgent, attention-seeking and pointless, but I’d like to speak for a minute about my experiences with film blogging and what it’s done for me over the past 12 months.

News: Fernando Meirelles’ 360 Chosen To Open The 55th BFI London Film Festival

Romantic drama 360, starring Jude Law and Rachel Weisz, has been selected to open the 55th BFI London Film Festival on October 12.

360, which marks director Fernando Meirelles’ long-awaited return to feature filmmaking, also stars Anthony Hopkins, Ben Foster, Jamel Debbouze, Lucia Siposová, Maria Flor, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Moritz Bleibtreu.
