20th Century Fox have put out another, slightly longer trailer for their upcoming summer blockbuster Prometheus – and it has all the necessary ingredients and more to leave you speechless with a body and mind coated in goosebumps.
Boasting a high profile cast, including Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, Idris Elba, Guy Pearce and Logan Marshall Green, Prometheus is directed by Ridley Scott, the world class storyteller and visionary responsible for Alien and Gladiator.
The film, which has been shrouded in certain level of mystery since its announcement, tells of a team of explorers who travel to the deepest, darkest corner of the universe where they make a discovery that may have a devastating impact on the future of humanity.
In a year that features several high profile blockbuster releases, Prometheus seemed in danger of being overcast by the likes of The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises and The Amazing Spider-Man. But, thanks in part to this astonishing new trailer, it may be the other films that should be watching their backs.
