Isabelle Huppert Joins Dead Man Down

Isabelle Huppert (I Heart Huckabees) has landed a supporting role in Dead Man Down, Deadline has revealed.

Huppert, who will next be seen in two Cannes-bound films: Michael Haneke’s Amour (Love) and Hong Sang-Soo’s In Another Country, will star opposite Colin Farrell (Fright Night), Noomi Rapace (Babycall), Dominic Cooper (An Education) and Terrence Howard (Crash) in the crime-thriller.

Sony Pictures Classics Acquires Michael Haneke’s Amour (Love)

Sony Pictures Classics has acquired the North American distribution rights to Amour, French filmmaker Michael Haneke’s follow-up to the multi-award winning The White Ribbon, The Playlist have discovered.

Amour, known as Love in English-speaking countries, tells of the struggles felt by a cultivated, retired couple, Georges (Jean-Louis Trintignant) and Anne (Emmanuelle Riva), when Anne unexpectedly suffers a life-threatening stroke. Marilyn Monroe Takes Centre Stage On 65th Cannes Film Festival Poster

The Cannes Film Festival has unveiled their poster for this year’s instalment, featuring the one and only Marilyn Monroe.
